Virtual Tournament Terms & Conditions of Entry

The Ultimate Secure Coding Throwdown
  1. The Competition “The Ultimate Secure Coding Throwdown Virtual Tournament” commences on 30th April 2020 at 2pm AEST and is open to developers and application security professionals across Asia Pacific (eligible countries listed below) to participate (subject to maximum number restrictions) as determined by Secure Code Warrior. Secure Code Warrior Limited reserves the right to not allow registrants access to the competition.
  2. All players must register through the registration link provided via email or social media and use a unique email address that has not been registered on the Secure Code Warrior platform before. They will be sent a link to set up their account in the tournament.
  3. Registration will close at 5pm AEST on 27th April to ensure registered players can be sent their account set up tokens and access the platform prior to the kick off call.
  4. By registering for the Tournament, the player authorises Secure Code Warrior Limited to collect, store, and use ( for marketing purposes with limitations as per our privacy policy and share their contact information with our Tournament sponsors for the same.
  5. The Tournament will commence at approximately 2:20pm AEST on 30th April after a kick off call and will run for 90 minutes. Winners will be announced at the end of the Tournament on the call.
  6. All winners will be notified via email and will need to claim their prize by providing their delivery address and clothing sizes if applicable. If prizes are not claimed within 14 days, Secure Code Warrior reserves the right to award the prize to the player with the next best score. 
  7. There are prizes available to the 3 players who attain the highest score during the Tournament. 
  8. 1st Prize is one Vive Cosmos Virtual Reality System valued at AU$1299 and will be awarded to the player with the highest score
  9. 2nd Prize is one ‘Xbox One X’ valued at AU$549 and will be awarded to the player with the 2nd highest score
  10. 3rd Prize is one set of ‘Apple AirPods’ valued at AU$259 and will be awarded to the player with the 3rd highest score
  11. Our top 3 winners will be announced on Secure Code Warrior Twitter (@SecCodeWarrior) feed by name if they consent on or before 5th May 2020.
  12. Players that are recognised as a “Top Competitor” as defined by being in our top 10% of all players in the Tournament and exceeding a score of 8000 points will receive a Secure Code Warrior T-Shirt and other swag from our sponsors.
  13. Prizes will be shipped to winners as soon as possible, subject to availability. Delays may be experienced due to COVID-19 implications on freight
  14. Prizes will be shipped from Australia and maybe subject to import tax in the destination country. By claiming the prize on the Prize claim page, winners accept they are responsible for the cost of import tax. Secure Code Warrior will not ship prizes if this is not accepted by the winner.
  15. Employees as well as family of Secure Code Warrior employees may participate but are not eligible to win the aforementioned prizes.
  16. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash
  17. Secure Code Warrior Ltd accepts no liability for loss or damage resulting from the use of these prizes.
  18. Secure Code Warrior Ltd reserves the rights to change the terms and conditions without notice.
  19. The Tournament is organised, hosted and promoted by Secure Code Warrior Pty Ltd, ABN 97 608 498 639, Suite 6.04, 227 Elizabeth Street, Sydney NSW 2000
  20. Players must reside in the follow countries to participate: Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia. Players registering outside of these countries will advised that their registration has failed. Should Secure Code Warrior allow registration to a player not in these countries, the player will not be entitled to win prizes.
