ARE YOU A SECURE CODE WARRIOR?

Improve your secure coding skills by joining Secure Code Warrior & Snyk at the GitHub Universe Secure Coding Tournament on December 11th, 12:00PM EST through December 14th, 5:00PM EST. The tournament allows you to compete against the other participants in a series of vulnerable code challenges that ask you to identify a problem, locate insecure code, and fix a vulnerability.

All challenges are based on the OWASP Top 10, and players can choose to compete in a range of software languages including Java EE, Java Spring, C# MVC, C# WebForms, Go, Ruby on Rails, Python Django Flask, Scala Play, Node.JS, React, and both iOS and Android development languages.

Throughout the tournament, players earn points and watch as they climb to the top of the leaderboard. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers including Secure Code Warrior and Snyk branded swag and ultimate bragging rights!

How to Join the tournament

- Simply complete the form and we will send information with the next steps and your training token to join.
Important: Make sure to click the "keep me updated" box so that we can send this to you.

- This tournament will be open from December 11th, 12:00PM EST - December 14th, 5:00PM EST, entry to the tournament is free!

- The tournament is run virtually so you can join through your laptop from the most convenient location and time.

- Winners will be announced once the tournament has finished by email and at the Awards Ceremony on December 14th at 5:00PM EST.

- By registering for this tournament you are consenting to have your information shared with Secure Code Warrior, Inc. and Snyk, Inc.

-Prizes will be shipped from central locations. If your country charges import taxes, you may be liable to pay these, or choose not to accept prizes. This is a tournament for attendees of GitHub Universe. Players who go against the spirit of the competition may be removed. Prizes are intended first time winners. Prizes and participants may be limited at Secure Code Warrior's discretion.
