- The Competition “AppSec NZ 2021 Secure Coding Virtual Tournament” commences on 12th February at 10:00am NZDT and closes at 3:15pm NZST on 13th February 2021, it is open to developers and application security professionals attending the AppSec NZ Conference only to participate as determined by Secure Code Warrior. Secure Code Warrior Limited reserves the right to not allow registrants access to the competition.
- All players must register through the registration link provided via email or social media and use a unique email address that has not been registered on the Secure Code Warrior platform before. They will be sent a link to set up their account in the tournament.
- Secure Code Warrior is collecting your personal information to process the registration for your participation in the AppSec NZ 2021 Secure Coding Tournament. If you choose not to provide us with certain information, we may not be ale to successfully register you.
- By registering you provide Secure Code Warrior the authority to provide the personal information collected to AppSec NZ 2021 for the marketing purposes.
- Secure Code Warrior's Privacy Policy sets out how we handle your personal information, how you can access or correct it or make a complaint about how Secure Code Warrior is handing your personal information and how we deal with your complaint. - Winners will be announced at the end of the Tournament at the conference and via email.
- All winners will be notified via email and will need to claim their prize by providing their delivery address and clothing sizes if applicable. If prizes are not claimed within 14 days, Secure Code Warrior reserves the right to award the prize to the player with the next best score. v
- There are prizes available to the 3 players who attain the highest score during the Tournament.
- 1st Prize - Raspberry Pi 4GB Starter Kit
- 2nd Prize - $75 AWS Voucher
- 3rd Prize - $40 AWS Voucher
- Prizes will be shipped to winners as soon as possible, subject to availability. Delays may be experienced due to COVID-19 implications on freight
- Prizes will be shipped from Australia and maybe subject to import tax in the destination country. By claiming the prize via email, winners accept they are responsible for the cost of import tax. Secure Code Warrior will not ship prizes if this is not accepted by the winner.
- Employees as well as family of Secure Code Warrior & AppSec NZ 2021 employees may participate but are not eligible to win the aforementioned prizes.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash
- Secure Code Warrior Ltd accepts no liability for loss or damage resulting from the use of these prizes.
- Secure Code Warrior Ltd reserves the rights to change the terms and conditions without notice.
- The Tournament is organised, hosted and promoted by Secure Code Warrior Pty Ltd, ABN 97 608 498 639, Suite 6.04, 227 Elizabeth Street, Sydney NSW 2000
- Players must reside in the follow countries to participate: New Zealand. Should Secure Code Warrior allow registration to a player not in these countries, the player will not be entitled to win prizes.
